…while a third 80-metre yacht enters the outfitting stage. Amels has released a note about the new Amels 60. Now under construction, the Amels 60 embodies pure Amels pedigree. She is an exciting new take on the very best Amels knowhow and craftsmanship and part of the yachts part of the Limited Editions series. The Amels 60 is promoted by the yard as one of the collectors’ items for tomorrow’s generation of yacht owners.
With a volume of 853GT, the Amels 60 boasts a striking Espen Øino exterior with contemporary and warm interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard and ocean-going naval architecture by Damen Yachting.
Exterior Design by Espen Øino – Starting with a blank sheet of paper, the design builds on the heritage at Amels, but it’s a clean and contemporary way to experience the sea. The big views from the Owners Suite through the trapezoid window frames make it a very dynamic design. The hard top mast, the crisp lines and overhangs, give shape to the big 29-metres long Sun Deck.
Harrison Eidsgaard was invited to evolve the Amels 60 interior design and has delivered a warm environment with varied materials and colourways. While the interior design allows plenty of scope for personal touches, an Owner can choose a completely custom interior design and designer. The interior space of 335 square metres (3,605 sq ft) and its well-balanced volume of 830 GT can showcase any individual vision. This level of freedom is one of the great benefits of the Amels Limited Editions approach.
The seventh hull of the award-winning Amels 60 range arrived in Vlissingen last year in February and she is now preparing to be delivered in spring. This stunning 60-metre (197-foot) vessel represents the latest addition to the Amels Limited Editions range, showcasing the pinnacle of luxury and innovation in yachting.
While the Amels 60 is preparing for delivery, there is another giant ready to enter the outfitting stage in Vlissingen, on schedule for delivery in 2026: it is the new – but third – Amels 80 Limited Editions. It is one of the four 80-metre megayachts currently in build at the yard.
