[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he iconic American yacht brand, Sea Ray, has today announced its participation in the Cannes Yachting Festival, where the shipyard will unveil the L CLASS.
The L 650 FLY will be on display at the show and will then remain in Europe for few months, as a demo unit at the newly opened yacht center on the French Riviera. This development is only the latest in a series of positive developments for the iconic American yacht brand. This latest announcement marks the start of a new chapter for the brand in Europe, launching a multi-year investment in the region.
In addition to the L 650 FLY, Sea Ray will have on display the 510 Sundancer and the 510 FLY, with a new interior selection born from the cooperation with CHRISTIANGRANDESIGNWORKS®. The Italian designer, winner of multiple awards with several companies, has offered his experience and magic touch to the prestigious American brand of Sea Ray, giving a European appeal to these models.
Earlier this year, Sea Ray confirmed that it will reopen a factory in Florida, USA, to address strong demand for models in its flagship L-Class series. The Company has also announced plans to build a world-class design center near that factory to provide customers with a high level of engagement during the order and build processes. “We’re excited about the growth opportunities present in the European market. Due to the overwhelming success of our new boats, including the L-Class, this is the next logical step to accommodate demand,” said Brad Anderson, Sea Ray senior vice president of global sales, marketing and customer service.
Inspired by Luxury
As a leading American brand, Sea Ray has long been known for its superior construction, impeccable quality, and styling. The latest Sea Ray yacht models have added a significant emphasis on style, which will appeal to European sensibilities. Sea Ray’s belief that “Style Thrives on Substance” is part of its core yacht-building philosophy, and the brand promises to redefine what customers should expect in a luxury yacht.
Store Experience
Located in Mandelieu, at Port La Napoule, Sea Ray’s new yacht center has been designed to offer multi-sensory experiences, featuring exclusive products and services.
“The yacht center has been carefully designed to adapt an iconic brand experience for the International market. Here, customers will be able to have an immersive Sea Ray experience from design to operation,” said Luca Brancaleon, Sea Ray director of international sales for sport yachts and yachts. “All this will start at the Yachting Cannes Festival too, where customers will be able to appreciate the luxury and value of our products and service”.
The flagship center will be a dynamic and luxurious new brand environment. Highlights include:
- Dynamic use of the Sea Ray apps, providing Augmented Reality tours of the new L650 Fly, L650 and 510 Fly.
- An immersive Sea Ray gallery, including impressive videos and spectacular photos of the Sea Ray fleet.
- Meet a designer: Customers will have the opportunity to meet with a Sea Ray designer to review samples and materials (by appointment only).
- Live events that demonstrate the quality of Sea Ray, and introduce the people behind the boats.
- Several boats are available on site for visits and sea trials (by appointment only).
- The 510 Sundancer will be the first boat in inventory.
- The flagship L650 Fly – busy on a tour in the Mediterranean – will arrive at the yacht center in July. (In the interim, it is available for visits during its cruise from Spain to France.)
- The outstanding 510 Fly will also join the fleet in July, and will be displayed at the next Yachting Festival de Cannes from Sept. 8 to 13, along with the 510 Sundancer and the L650 Fly.
