With interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon, one of the world’s top interior designers for 5-star hotels, the hotel was purchased by the noted construction company, Giambelli S.p.A., with Architect Paola Giambelli at the helm to create a new hotel in the heart of Milan.
The new must-visit destination, a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is distinguished by many features unique in the city centre, including an expansive windows and private terraces that offer striking garden or city views and ensure that the rooms are awash in natural daylight, a rarity in the bustling city.
The architect’s use of volume within the structure is rare especially in historic Milanese buildings and it allows for spaces that are generous both in terms of size and natural light.
65 spacious guest rooms and 33 suites are individually designed and distinctively appointed with hand-selected art work, marble, rich woods and luxurious fabrics. All accommodations include complimentary Wi-Fi, 48-inch LCD televisions and marble baths with separate tub and shower.
Palazzo Parigi Hotel offers two top gathering spots for guests, visitors and residents. The gourmet restaurant is an enchanting neoclassical space for refined business lunches and intimate dinners. The décor of the restaurant is enhanced by the warm, comfortable interiors, recalling the Italian design of the 1940s and 1950s – floors covered by multi-coloured carpet, combined with fabrics that play around the same hues and embellished by important pieces of art and antiques.

Architect Paola Giambelli, owner and architectural designer of Palazzo Parigi, drawing from her extensive experience of nearly thirty years in the real estate sector, fifteen of which involved the design and operation of hotels. Ms. Giambell, with a degree from the Politecnico di Milano, began her career with Giambelli S.p.A., a family business. Well-known within the construction industry, her role Giambelli S.p.A. involved overseeing the residential, commercial and tertiary property projects, as well as the renovation of historic and contemporary buildings. In continuing her role with the company, in 1987, Ms Giambelli focused heavily in the hotel industry where she perceived unexplored opportunities, particularly in the business sector. The first creation was the Cosmo Hotel, Vimercate, in the Torri Bianche area, followed by the Cosmo Palace Hotel in Cinisello Balsamo, just a mile outside of Milan.
Michelin Star Guest Chef Katia Maccari Checks In to Palazzo Parigi This December
Palazzo Parigi Hotel and Grand Spa will welcome Michelin starred guest Chef Katia Maccari from December 1, 2015 through January 2, 2016. To celebrate the most lively and gastronomic month of the year, Chef will serve up the many flavors of Tuscany at the hotel’s elegant restaurant.
Katia is one of the few female chefs recognized by the famous Michelin institution, and her cuisine pays tribute to one of Italy’s richest soils: Tuscany. A true lover and ambassador of her homeland, Katia’s authentic Tuscan cuisine is based on the best local products grown less than a mile from her kitchen.
