[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he fascinating setting of Promenade de la Croisette hosted the 38th edition of the Yachting Festival Cannes, from 8th to 13th September: one of the most anticipated events in the boating world, the opening of the new season, a standing and unmissable date for the prospective buyers and exhibitors, who have been finally pleased to notice a flourishing market recovery. The first date of the new 2015/2016 season proved to be again one of the international key-events where shipyards and operators seem to invest more.
Shipyards usually do not lose this occasion to showcase to this high-profile public, the best form their fleet and to introduce novelties. After its last-year success, not only in Cannes, Absolute has displayed nine boats of its range, moored in the evocative Port Vieux, including this season novelty, Navetta 52 which has raised great interest thanks to its innovative features.
Sustained efforts, teamwork, attention to detail and customer focus are the keys of our shipyard’s success: the Boat Show has proved once again to be the chance to internationally show the results of an intense year of work and lay the groundwork for the exciting and promising season that has just started.
“En plein air”: A comfortable sofa with a table and a grill welcomes the guests who, while sailing, can even enjoy the outdoor accommodation to relax “en plein air”. The Fly driving seat is surrounded by two L-shaped sofas in order to create a convivial space where the captain and his guests can spend their time all together, gently lulled by the waves, while admiring the blue sky and sea melting at the horizon.
Down on the main deck, if you do not want to miss the chance to enjoy a sunny day, you will be pleased to see the bow sun pad with its elegance and functionality. At lunchtime, nothing better than the Navetta’s hall, with its two areas: on the one hand, the wide dinette with two comfortable sofas and the driving seat, strategically placed in order to let thecaptain sail while spending time with his guests; on the other hand, the galley, with all its fittings, near to the cockpit; these two spaces are next each other but distinct, in order to create a discrete sharing of the ambience.
Finally, at nightfall, the extra-large cabins windows offer the possibility to admire the sight of the sunset, cradling your soul on the high seas, in the silence of the night, just gently breached by the whisper of the waves breaking against the hull. Since Absolute wants to offer as much comfort as possible to all the guests, there are two cabins near to the Master cabin and its private bathroom, the twin one, and the double one with direct access to the toilet.
Every detail is highly accurate on board of the Navetta 52: a functional and discrete space is available also for the crew, whose cabin is skilfully placed between the platform and the engine room, with a direct and independent access to both spaces. The finishing level and the privacy of this cabin make it usable also for a guest who loves life aboard.
As usual, Absolute is future-oriented and the Navetta 52 has been designed following this leitmotif, which combines the long-standing experience of the shipyard to the stylistic and technological innovation, the safety and comfort to the high fuel economy, without sacrificing its range typical of the motor yachts class, thanks to IPS system.
