Second launch of the year for Baglietto, that last Saturday saw her new 41m superfast open motoryacht, Francesca II, hit the water for the first time, at the presence of her excited Owners.
Francesca II is characterized by a strong personality by Francesco Paszkowski Design who signed also the interior in collaboration with Margherita Casprini and naval architecture by Bacigalupo. Her bold, streamlined profile is enhanced by the champagne shade of the hull making her beauty even more striking.
“This is a unique yacht characterised by a very high level of customization and impressive performance thanks to her 3-engines and 3-hydrojet propulsion system shipyard – comments Baglietto’s CCO Fabio Ermetto – Francesca II marks another important step in our long history and confirms our world leadership in the construction of highly performant aluminium yachts above 40 metres in length. A segment in which Baglietto has always strongly believed and been pioneer”.
The yacht bears a very personal layout. All cabins have been arranged on the lower deck: the master cabin is located amidships, the VIP cabin – also a double – can be found forward, while the two guest cabins have single beds that can easily slide and be converted into double beds. On the same deck, closer to the stern, are the crew quarters. Located beside the engine room and conveniently accessible directly from the main deck, they include the captain’s cabin and 2 double cabins for the crew, as well as the galley with dinette. The aft garage, which opens on one side, is used to store a tender.
The main deck has been devised in such a way as to ensure a harmonious continuum between interior and exterior areas. Two sliding doors, one located aft and the other on a side, provide access to the dining area and to the conversation area of the main salon. The latter is brightened by the natural light flowing through two ceiling-high windows, which also ensure a wonderfully close contact with the sea even when living indoors. The pilot station can be found forward of the main salon. The outdoor aft cockpit hosts a lounge area, while the sunbathing area on the aft swimming platform is perfect to relax by the sea. Another sunbathing area and a second conversation area have been set up at the extreme bow of this modern, impressively functional yacht.
A second pilot station, with a pleasant relaxation area just behind it, can be found on the fly bridge.
Fitted with 3 MTU 12V2000 M97 engines and 3-hydrojet propulsion system, hull 10242 can reach an impressive maximum speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots.
Francesca II is classified with ABS.
