[dropcap]A[/dropcap]t the beginning of this month Baglietto’s new 48-meter yacht, hull no.10233, arrived at the shipyard in La Spezia for the fitting-out stage, after a spectacular cruise along the Navicelli channel in Pisa where she was under construction at a Baglietto supplier’s shed.
The vessel, built on speculation and available for sale, arrived at the shipyard for the Baglietto team to complete its production and meet its scheduled delivery of Fall 2020.
Project 10233, which has exteriors designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, is the sistership of the motor yachts Andiamo and Silver Fox and represents the flagship model of the Baglietto T-Line.
The shipyard and designer have worked closely to make important style and functional improvements that will add value to a well-established platform.
The vessel has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and offers impressive volumes and unique outside areas. The 140 square-meter sun deck and the vast beach club are certainly major points of strength.
The big full-height windows with no obstructions on both the main deck and upper deck give access to natural sunlight and a direct connection to the sea.
The motorization with Caterpillar C32 Acert has been slightly de-rated from the previous model, a choice which highlights the shipyard’s commitment to being environmentally responsible without losing performance as the yacht can easily cruise at a maximum speed of 15 knots and cruising speed of 12 knots.
More details on the interiors, designed in collaboration with a major Italian company, will be revealed at the next Monaco Yacht Show.
