Bentley Home’s presence is seductive, with unexpected curves and pure forms that ensure all pieces of furniture make an extraordinary statement. The collection boldly reinterprets its deepest roots, bringing the language of the automotive world into a new idea of luxury: the icon of the new collection is the Styal desk, the next generation evolved from the President, a product that was in itself a milestone in the brand’s history and identity.
Key to the aesthetic of the new collection is the introduction of Degradé lacquering, bringing a sense of quintessential luxury that is both customisable and instantly recognisable. This is an incredibly intricate and complex process to achieve to such a high standard. Applying the Degradé effect is complex because it involves a number of manual processes. Before the Degradé effect can be created, a coat of varnish is hand-applied to protect the wood. The craftsman is a veritable artist, using the airbrush to apply the colour by hand, layering it just right, gradually drawing away from the wood to accentuate the colour gradient. The technical skill lies in replicating every detail of the shading, to guarantee a result that consistently shows a high level of craftsmanship and mastery. At the end of this long process comes the first round of polishing, which gives the product body, depth and solidity. Lastly, four coats of varnish are applied before the final polishing.
It is brought to life in a variety of versions: Deep Ocean, Midnight Walnut, Black Kenya, Dark Shadow, Rust Degradé, Silver Degradé and Bronze Degradé. Nuances range from black to distinctive metallic colours that make each hand-painted product unique and unrepeatable.
Sustainability has been a key driving force when developing the new and exclusive materials launching into the 2021 collection. Bentley Home are now introducing a new fabric produced using marble powder. Luxury and refinement are combined with a sustainable approach to the very finest materials. The marble-powder fabric is available in a light grey matt version, and is made entirely in Italy, from research into the material right through to production, by master craftsmen who tend to every single step in the process.
2021 is a year of new creative challenges: the extraordinary journey of Bentley Home is only just beginning.
ALDFORD TABLE
Design and art come together in the lines of the new Aldford table, presented in a choice of rectangular or circular versions. An extremely elegant, sculptural line, setting new standards as a vision of modern luxury.
Clean, sleek lines define its extreme aesthetic, starting from the legs that taper up from the floor and come together under the top in a single form, accentuating the sense of lightness and suspension. An organic, seductive design, enhanced by the three layers that make up the top: the underside is lacquered in a glossy black, a metal profile runs around the perimeter, while the upper surface is in marble or glossy wood.
A creative process that heralds the future, pushing the structural envelope. Aldford presented a completely new constructional challenge for the designers at Luxury Living Group and the craftsmen of Bentley Home. The double curve of the base and the sloping edge of the top, are achieved using the very latest milling techniques. Innovation and technology combined with the finest of Italian handmade craftsmanship and the most beautiful materials: Bentley Home once again shifts the bounds of luxury.

RAMSEY SOFA AND LOVESEAT
The new Ramsey line designed by Carlo Colombo defies gravity, with its seat suspended off the floor, is an original new addition to the collection. Its shell, sensually tapered, flows into the armrests that reach upwards like outstretched wings.
The lines are delicate, split only by an intriguing transparency between the seat and backrest. A gun metal grey insert frames the profile, reaching down below the seat, emphasising the apparent lack of gravity.
Its proportions are graceful and propose a new dimension of luxury, in the service of evolving spatial requirements, in even the most contemporary of homes.

STYAL DESK
Designed by Carlo Colombo with significant contribution and collaboration with Bentley Motors Design team, the new Styal desk is the masterpiece of the new Home collection. During times where the office has forcibly entered our homes, Bentley Home elevates the very concept of “office space”, giving shape to an iconic and timeless product, as elegant and pure in its design as it is luxurious and refined in every single detail.
A succession of sensual curves runs along the three metres of its wooden frame, covered in leather or veneer, with the sideboard elegantly positioned to give it balanced proportion. Slim and light, extreme from all perspectives: Styal dramatically reimagines the concept of working from home.
The entire length of the top is punctuated with a gun metal grey insert: a visual “incision” that accentuates its sculptural profile, governing its lines and leading the curves at either end.
Styal is broken down into four elements, subdivided by a metal profile, which can be covered in leather or veneer according to personal taste, making it customisable in all aspects. The sole, absolute protagonist.
