KEVIN GLANCY SOURCES RARE PUIFORCAT ‘ALDO BAKKER’ TEA SERVICE AND LEONE VILLARI PANTHER FOR LYJAPCS
The first piece is a Puiforcat sterling silver tea service. This was the first time that this tea service was shown in the UK. This being only the second one ever made from a limited edition of just 20. The second piece is a Leone Villari panther. This is also a limited edition, which is hand painted with 24k gold and adorned with amber Swarovski elements.
The Kevin Glancy team presented the two pieces as part of a select collection chosen for the event. Working alongside partner brand Jonathan Fawcett, specialists in table linen, towels, bed linen and accessories, the companies provide a complete outfitting service from their shared headquarters in Manchester.
Leone Villari’s breathtaking limited edition panther adopts a graceful posture, uniting porcelain and amber Swarovski elements encrusted by hand on the 24ct gold handpainted piece. It is part of a collection that focuses on harmony and balance, with every detail handcrafted by master artisans using traditional techniques.
The limited edition Puiforcat ‘Fluidite’ tea set and coffee service designed by Aldo Bakker, unites eight items of rare distinction and is manufactured on demand, with the full set requiring 270 hours of silversmith work.
Bakker says: “The challenge for me was to create objects that linked to each other by one design principle: the interaction between two parts. Each product needed to express this principle in its own way, but I wanted to avoid a repetition of shapes.”
Jason Hales, Sales Director at Kevin Glancy and Jonathan Fawcett, says: “These two stunning pieces are perfect examples of the unique objects our team are constantly sourcing from specialist artisans from around the globe, building relationships with leading brands to bring our clients the very best products and service.
