‘A deck above the rest’ is the title given to the presentation of this new model, at the Monaco Yacht Show. According to the vision and philosophy of the brand, the new Mangusta Oceano 52 reaches a higher level in terms of experience at sea, offering the sensation of a real conquest of space and the horizon through a gaze aimed at the entire surrounding marine environment.
The new Mangusta Oceano 52 was highly anticipated during summer 2024 and finally unveiled at the last edition of the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. The collaboration with designer Alberto Mancini continues and takes shape also in this project, developed jointly by Overmarine’s Engineering Department.
Mancini, who has already a proven track record with the design of the Mangusta Oceano range, pencilled both the yacht’s exteriors and interiors of this new model, expanding on the design features implemented on the previous models, the Mangusta Oceano 39 and Mangusta Oceano 44.

On this modern yacht, form and function take on a cutting-edge style, with solutions that ensure a constant visual contact with the sea and preserve the concept of space and freedom of movement found on all other Mangusta Oceano models.
“The Mangusta Oceano 52 stands out for the bold design choices it embraces, with neat, streamlined lines defining the shapes and proportions of a dazzling mega yacht that commands a powerful and imposing presence in the water, coming across as much longer than her 52 ”, says Alberto Mancini.
“Following a thorough market analysis, we decided to redefine our concept in the 500 GT segment, introducing unprecedented features in this yacht class; across all decks, innovation and modularity allow the Owner to enjoy the lifestyle of a mega yacht”, adds Mangusta’s President Americas Stefano Arlunno, who directly supervised project development with the Company’s Engineering Department.
The project team’s in-depth design research has resulted in a vessel whose modularity means the Owner can enjoy the space they dream of for themselves and their ‘inner circle’, experiencing cruising at best and exploring new destinations.
Thanks to an in-depth study of glazed surfaces and technical solutions aimed at making all decks obstacle- free, onboard lifestyle on this vessel is comparable to that normally found on a 60-metre yacht. A constant visual contact between indoor and outdoor areas is ensured everywhere across the yacht, especially on the main deck, which is almost entirely made of glass, particularly in the aft area, where all storage trunks have been moved outside.
“A deck above the rest” – these words clearly express one of the new features introduced with the Mangusta Oceano 52, i.e. the master stateroom located on the upper deck and facing forward, thereby creating a breathtaking private area that enjoys a 180° view on the horizon. Floor-to-ceiling windows let daylight flood the cabin as the beauty of the landscape folds the Owner into its relaxing embrace.
From the suite, access is gained to the private outer deck with its large ‘Mangusta Signature’ infinity pool. From here, a convenient staircase leads down to the patio lounge on the main deck – an extremely versatile area to easily convert from gym area to lounge area.
With the master cabin located on the upper deck, the two guest/VIP cabins can benefit from a privileged position on the main deck, where unmatched brightness and wonderful views make time spent indoors even more pleasant. The lower deck hosts four more guest cabins.
The first unit of the Mangusta Oceano 52 is currently under construction at Overmarine Group’s shipyard in Pisa. This steel and aluminium displacement yacht under 500GT can boast truly extraordinary modularity.
The entire project and all design solutions revolve around the Owner; see-through materials, glazed surfaces and open spaces combine to obtain the perfect layout, allowing guests to always experience the pleasure of onboard life.
This is a yacht where pure relaxation means that the eyes are free to wander across the interiors and beyond, always maintaining visual contact with the sea and taking in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. It is a sensory experience elicited by the soft-hued shades of furniture and furnishings, which add to the beauty of generous, bright, and welcoming interiors and smoothly, harmoniously flow into outdoor areas. ∎
