ALEXANDER KUZMIN | EDOUARD VIGNAL | BERNARD CALOT | LORENZO SOUTHEY
ALEXANDER KUZMIN – Sales Broker – Representative in Moscow Alexander was born on the northern coast of the Black Sea, growing up by the water he has always had a passion for boats and the ocean. Having a degree in Economics and Management from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Alexander has extensive experience of managing and delivering sales projects. From 2011 to 2014 he worked at Moran Yacht & Ship in Moscow and attended the Monaco Yacht Show on a regular basis. Since joining OCEAN Independence in 2015 Alexander has been putting his experience and knowledge to work in Sales and Charter. Speaking both Russian, his mother tongue, and English Alexander has the ability to step between markets and take care of Russian speaking clients. Outside the yachting world, he loves to spend time with his family, travelling and surfing.
EDOUARD VIGNAL – Sales Broker – French Riviera Office Growing up between Paris, Tunisia, Brazil and Venezuela plus college time spent in California, Mexico and China, Edouard has a very global background! Graduating from The American Business School of Paris with a degree majoring in International Business, he then worked as an Asset Management Consultant in the South of France and Paris. In 2010 he moved into yachting as a sales broker, and dealt exclusively with Ferretti and Pershing yachts together with Sunseeker, Princess, Azimut and Fairline. With this proven background as a valued sales broker in the luxury yachting industry, Edouard has hit the ground running in the Golfe Juan office bringing a wealth of knowledge with him. Edouard’s hobbies are travelling, skiing and sailing. He speaks fluent French, English and Spanish.
BERNARD CALOT – Sales Broker – Fort Lauderdale Office Bernard was born and raised in Valencia, Spain, where he honed his fishing and sailing skills. When his family moved to Canada the winter was a little too cold, so he resumed his first love…sailing navigation. Captain on board several charter yachts and delivery yachts, Bernard has cruised extensively in the Mediterranean, Great Lakes, East Coast USA, Bahamas, Caribbean, Cuba, and Gulf of Mexico. Bernard speaks fluent Spanish, French, English, and Italian. His hobbies are fishing and scuba diving. He is also a great cook; his specialty being Paella on the beach! With an engineering background in diesel engines and hydraulic systems his knowledge is widespread!
LORENZO SOUTHEY – Sales Broker – Palma Office Lorenzo has worked on board luxury charter yachts for over five years and from this has gathered a widespread knowledge of all things marine! His move to become a land- based Sales Broker now combines his nautical skills with previous roles where he worked extensively in promotional sales and high end corporate hospitality. Lorenzo brings with him an enthusiastic outlook to move forwards and gain experience in all areas of yacht sales, new build, major refits and overall yacht administration. Always handy is his brother; captain on board a 60m+ yacht! Joining the busy Palma team, Lorenzo speaks both English and Dutch.
