The first hull in the new Sanlorenzo SX88 crossover yacht series was launched last week at the Italian yard’s Ameglia facility. With a GRP hull and carbonfibre superstructure, the first Sanlorenzo SX88 features interiors by the famous Italian designer Piero Lissoni. The shipyard referred to this new model as a “a Copernican revolution”: this new 27 metre has been conceived as a combination of a mini explorer and a flybridge yacht and aims at attracting a new generation of buyers.
