On the occasion of the 5th edition of the Monaco Art Week 2023 (4-9 July 2023), Superyacht Digest is pleased to announce the special project created in collaboration with TEOS Art Gallery in Monte Carlo, the prestigious reference for contemporary art in the Principality, located at the iconic Fairmont Hotel.
The MONACO ART WEEK Association is a result of the desire to federate Monaco’s cultural institutions in an effort to organise joint actions that highlight and promote the Principality’s art scene. Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the association, created in 2018, offers a variety of get-togethers and events, with the organisation of exhibition trails, round tables and professional encounters. This format aims to facilitate access to the programme, based on a map that groups the participants together in three main centres (Condamine, Monte-Carlo, Larvotto), encouraging each one to explore the Monegasque cultural landscape.
This event was the perfect occasion to present the new cover of Superyacht Digest Summer Issue 2023. Our magazine, devoted to the world of contemporary art, worked again with internationally acclaimed artist Axel Crieger, in collaboration with TEOS Art Gallery in Monte Carlo.
The German artist-photographer Axel Crieger is famous for his brilliant photomontages, inspired by celebrities and the luxury good industry. Crieger’s work is by turns thought-provoking and amusing with its unexpected juxtapositions creating a curious and compelling narrative.
The artwork by the German artist chosen for the cover of the magazine is “Sunday in Bed”, a superlative and elegant photomontage featuring a smiling Audrey Hepburn.
For this special occasion Superyacht Digest and Teos Gallery have had the honour to host during the Monaco Art Week some of the Overmarine Mangusta scale models in the spaces dedicated to the art show: Mangusta GranSport 33 and Mangusta Oceano 39.

Teos Art Gallery officially participated in the event Monaco Art Week and for the occasion created a solo exhibition for Axel Crieger. The selected artworks have been exhibiting in three places: inside the gallery, in the lobby of the Fairmont Hotel, and at the vibrant Circe Restaurant in Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
The conceptual restaurant has just been renovated and opened under a new ownership. Based on the goddess Circe, it offers an exquisite cuisine highlighting fresh and noble local Mediterranean products. The restaurant is the perfect choise for all those clients cruising off the French Riviera: it is also reachable via tender, since it is located just in front of the small marina in Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
