Full-time work on S501, the 5th project in the Tankoa fleet and the third hull in its 50-metre all-aluminium series, has resumed after an easing of the lockdown situation in Italy. Started on speculation and sold in March 2020 just before the coronavirus crisis took hold in Europe, S501 is sistership to Bintador and Vertige.
Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, her layout is much the same with two important variations: the main deck aft is dedicated exclusively to an enormous lounge for relaxation with the dining room on the upper deck, while the forward master stateroom features a private lounge that can be converted into an extra en-suite cabin.
S501 will sport a striking black hull and metallic grey superstructure. The painting of the topsides is complete and the hull coating is scheduled to be finished by mid-June. Outfitting of the exclusive interior design by Casadio Miami, a US-based studio with experience in the residential, aviation and marine sectors, will commence shortly.
Powered by conventional diesel propulsion, S501 will have a top speed of 17,5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
